It all started in 1927 when Russel Kerlin began selling Ford Model T cars in downtown Silver Lake, IN. This family owned and operated Ford dealership has grown into many complimentary businessess. Kerlin's now have six buildings in two locations. Kerlins' is continuing to serve Silver Lake, IN and now serving the Warsaw, IN area, which is just 12 miles north of Silver Lake. The Ford Dealership, located on State Road 15 in Silver Lake, has earned more customer excellence awards from Ford Motor Company than any other Ford dealer in the entire United States. Along with the full line of Ford products in Silver Lake is the New Holland tractor and implement departments for sales and service of farm equipment. Grasshopper mowers and Bush Hog equipment are also available in Silver Lake along with Arctic Cat ATVs and the trailer division including: Kiefer, Kiefer Industrial, Bison, Lakota, Moritz, Delta and Sundowner Trailers. Trailers are available for all hauling needs including: livestock, horse, cargo, car haulers, flatbeds, garage trailers and more.
